A true son of Shreveport, Andy was born into the family grocery business, Andrews Grocery in Caddo Heights, where hard work was part of the family genetics.  His grandmother often expressed, “If you’ve got time to lean, you’ve got time to clean!”  After graduating from CE Byrd High, Andy continued his education just down the road at Louisiana Tech, where he met his wife Michelle and earned his BS in Forestry/Wildlife.  Being close to family, all grounded in NWLA, and Andy’s love of the outdoors made the Sportsman’s Paradise a perfect home for him.  Andy and Michelle settled back in Shreveport where they built their family, daughters Madeline and Mary, and a zoo full of pets.

Andy is an active community leader, coaching youth sports for many years and as a volunteer through First United Methodist Church. In 2002, Andy earned his real estate license and transitioned from buying and selling forest products to buying and selling homes.  Honored as “Rookie of the Year” in 2003 and being a multi-million-dollar producer each year since, his greatest reward is serving his clients.  He has helped thousands of families achieve their own real estate dreams and is thankful that many of those are repeat clients and suggest his services to their friends and families.  Combining his real estate and forestry experience, he also offers expertise in commercial ventures and recreational, timber, and agricultural land.  Andy and his business partner Emily offer proven sales and negotiation techniques and a commitment to client services.  Along with offering positive and rewarding experiences for their clients, they are proud to provide a nurturing environment for their Osborn Hays Real Estate agents, with the operations and marketing support needed to build their careers and serve their clients.
