Jennifer grew up in the world of real estate, her dad being a successful broker in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she was raised and spent the first part of her adult life. In 2018 she and her husband, Matthew, and their three children, at the time (now they have 4 – ages 13, 11, 7, & 2) started out on an adventure to pursue ministry. This led them to Kentucky, and now to Louisiana where her husband serves as the pastor of contemporary worship at First Methodist Church. It was during these transitions, that her passion to help others settle and transition really took flight. While transitioning her family in their move to Kentucky, she was given the opportunity to support others, especially international families, while serving as a community liaison. She found a real love and excitement in this, from the joy of negotiating the price of a car to the long conversations had while waiting at the Social Security office. In their transition to Louisiana, she has once again gotten to experience what it requires to relocate, from figuring out neighborhoods and schools to discovering the best restaurants and places to shop.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and has had many opportunities over the years to use those skills in several different ways from opening and managing her family’s Christian bookstore in 2008 to teaching and serving on parent association boards at her children’s schools.
Having moved twice herself to two different states in the past several years, she knows what it takes. It’s more than just a contract and it’s more than just a house. She’s ready and willing to go the extra mile for you and your family.
